1. Check Roblox Server Status
- Head over to the Roblox Server Status Page to check whether there is any server downtime or maintenance process is ongoing or not.
- If all the system shows operational that means there is no issue with the game server. However, if there is some issue, make sure to wait for a couple of hours before trying Roblox again.

2. Use the Roblox Utility Tool
- Download the Roblox Utility Tool on your Windows PC/Laptop.
- Install this tool > Click on Scan Now.
- Wait for a couple of seconds or more to complete scanning.
- Once done, it will show you the Fix button if there is an issue.
- Click on Fix and wait for some time to fix the error code 277.

3. Update Default Browser

- Under the Web browser category, you’ll find the Google Chrome browser selected as a default browser.
- Now, head over to the Google Chrome browser > Click on the Menu (three dots icon) from the upper right side.
- Go to Help > About Google Chrome > It will automatically check for updates and tell you whether the browser is updated or not. If an update is available, it will automatically download and install it. Once done, restart your Chrome browser and you’re good to go.

4. Change Default Browser

- Next, use the Shift + Delete keyboard shortcut to completely delete all the selected log files of the Roblox from the PC.
- Once done, open up the Run dialog box again and run the following command & hit Enter:

- Similarly, use the Ctrl + A keyboard shortcut to select all the files in the folder.
- Next, use the Shift + Delete keyboard shortcut to completely delete all the selected log files of the Roblox from the PC.
- Once done, restart your computer and check for the Roblox Error Code 277 again.
7. Update Windows OS Build
Click on Start > Settings > Update & Security.
If the available update isn’t showing automatically, click on Check for updates.
If there is any latest Windows update available, make sure to Download and Install it.
Once downloaded, the system will ask you to reboot your device to apply the changes.
