To begin with, this ain’t a new error but is there for ages. We managed to find out a Reddit thread about the same issue, which dates back to almost six years ago. As evident from the post, the internet set up, PS4 and the PSN status is all well and good, even then he is being greeted with this error:

Method 1: Enter Network Credentials

More often than not, the error happens due to the issues with the access point or your Internet Service Provider. As a result, users aren’t able to log in to the network and hence keep on facing this issue. So to correct this issue, you will have to access the login page and enter the desired credentials.

To do so, open the PS4 internet browser or the User Guide, which should take you to the login page. Enter the username and password. However, if you don’t have any clue regarding the credentials, you might have to ask the ISP.
