Now, without wasting further time, let’s get started.
1. Power Cycle Console
- make sure that your console is turned on.
- Press and hold the console power button for at least 10 seconds.
- Once your console is fully turned off, unplug the console power cable from the power source.
- Wait for a minute or so and then plug back in the cable.
- Now, restart your console and try checking the error.
2. Reset your Console
- Turn off your console > Unplug the power cable of the console from the power source.
- Wait for a minute or so to plug back in.
- Press and hold the Pair + Eject button on the console at the same time > Then quickly short press the Xbox button. (Xbox One S all-digital console users can long-press the Pair button and short press the Xbox button)
- Keep holding the respective buttons until you hear (15 seconds).
- Your console should restart automatically in the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter.
- Here you’ll find Reset this Xbox option > Select it and confirm to get started.
- Next, you’ll get an option to either keep apps and games or wipe out everything. That depends on you. However, we’ll recommend you to reset the console.
3. Perform an Offline Update
- Create a USB flash drive of 8GB storage that should be in the NTFS file system. In order to do this, insert a USB flash drive to the computer and format it quickly.
- Once done, go to the Xbox Support website and download the latest Xbox One console OS.
- Extract the archive file on your PC > Move the extracted OS files to the $SystemUpdate folder. (Important)
- Now, safely remove the USB flash drive from the PC and plug it into the console after powering it off.
- Then press & hold the Bind and Eject button at the same time > Quickly press the Xbox button.
- Once two beep sounds appear, release the Bind and Eject buttons > Now, the Xbox One Startup Troubleshooter will appear.
- Select Offline system update > Press X to access it.
- Wait for the process to complete.
- Once done, restart your console.
